The award highlights the “extraordinary buildings, projects and communities that best demonstrate smart, connected, high performance intelligent building concepts,” especially as it relates to operations, sustainability, innovation, hospitality, cyber, and wellness. Additionally, IBCON nominated Aaron Altscher, Director of Technology Initiatives, for the Rising Star Award, highlighting the significant impact he has made on Carr and the commercial real estate industry using technology.
