Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer
Austen Holderness serves as Carr Properties’ Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Austen oversees all ground-up development activity, including oversight of all matters related to design, development, construction management, and joint ventures. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating new development opportunities. Prior to joining Carr Properties, Austen distinguished himself as a Senior Development Associate at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation. During his career he has managed $3.2 billion in commercial real estate and residential development, encompassing five million square feet of space. Austen received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and his Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia.
