Senior Vice President, Design & Construction
Alison Wertzler serves as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction and currently oversees Carr Properties’ Construction Management. She is also leading two new development projects: in Alexandria, VA, currently under construction, and another residential project in the design phase in Arlington, VA. While at Carr Properties, she has been responsible for Carr’s mixed-use development project in Bethesda, Maryland—The Wilson and The Elm—as well as multiple construction management projects in the metro DC area, Boston, MA, and Austin, TX. Prior to joining Carr Properties, Alison served as Vice President at Clark Construction, where she spent over 20 years contributing to significant development projects in the Washington, DC metro area, including 600 Massachusetts Avenue NW, 901 New York Avenue NW, the International Monetary Fund Headquarters II, Lot 31 in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Dulles Silver Line Phase Two project. Alison received her degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
